How long does it take?

Designing a kitchen could be done in less than 30 minutes. Most people, depending on their comfort navigating through the online kitchen planner , will put together a design within 30 to 60 minutes.

After you’ve decided to move ahead with the design and place a deposit, we expect measurement, production, delivery and installation to take approximately 7 to 8 weeks.

Once you submit your design, it usually takes 2 business days for our kitchen consultants to review and let you know if your design is feasible and meets kitchen design best practices. Should there be any recommendations from our experts we’ll reach out to you to review the design together.

After a deposit has been made, our customer service representatives will reach out to schedule a professional site measure. If there are no discrepancies between the site measures and the dimensions in your original design, your kitchen is ready to go into production.

After you place your order, your design will go into production at our local facility. Before placing your order, we’ll schedule a delivery date.

The installation of the kitchen cabinetry can be delayed if your room isn’t properly prepared. We highly recommend you engage the services of a general contractor for this.

Don’t I need a designer to do this for me?

Great question! And the answer is: not really. We took care of the complicated questions for you by embedding the knowledge of professional designers and kitchen best practices right in our technology. All you need to know is that our online kitchen planner is simple to use.

When will you come to measure?

We’ll send out a professional to measure your kitchen area after a deposit of 10% has been made. Your dedicated customer service rep will reach out to you to coordinate a time for the site measure.

How does validation work?

After you have designed your kitchen in our kitchen planner and put in a request for validation, one of our kitchen consultants will look at your design to make sure it works properly. You will get a notification when your kitchen has been validated.

Why doesn't the kitchen planner work in my browser?

Our kitchen planner works great in modern web browsers. That means all major platforms like Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. Unfortunately, we are unable to run it on Internet Explorer (and Edge Legacy), as Microsoft is no longer offering support. If this sounds like you, it might be time for an update!

The planner works for both desktop and tablets (viewed horizontally), but not for mobile devices and smart phones....but we're working on it!

If you do meet our device and browser support requirements but are still experiencing technical difficulties, please feel free to reach out to us.

What is your service area?

At the moment, we serve the Lower Mainland & Fraser Valley in British Columbia. Our postal code tool in the kitchen planner will tell you whether we’re able to serve you.

We’re looking to expand our services outside of this area. If you’d like to know when we become available in your area, please leave us your email address here.

How long does installation take?

Installation takes 2 days.

Can I pick up my order?

Yes, you can. This will allow you to ship it yourself, to areas we currently don’t serve.

Product

Do you sell appliances?

At the moment, we don’t sell the appliances featured in our online kitchen planner. Just think of these appliances as place-holders with the most common dimensions found at appliance retailers.

How will I know if my measurements are right?

To begin, you’ll have to use the good old measuring tape. Here are some tips on how to properly measure your room.

Once we have agreed to move forward, a professional will visit your home or site to check your measurements.

Will I be able to see what the door finishes will look like?

After designing your kitchen, you’ll have access to a realistic photo of your design. This will show you, in high-definition, what the cabinets and door finishes will look like.

If you want to physically see/feel the door finishes and countertops, you’ll have to make a showroom appointment.

Will I have drawings?

Yes, after you’ve completed your design, the tool will automatically generate professional drawings which show cabinet dimensions from the top, side and front.

These drawings will be available to you for download after we have agreed to move forward.
